Suggest Treatment For High Resting Heart Rate And Asthma

Hi my resting heart rate is 119. I have had the flue with a mild fever and have been using both my nebulizer and albuterol inhaler because my asthma is acting up. I saw my doctor today and he did not seem concerned but I feel I should have asked about it more directly. Frankly I have been feeling so bad that it slipped my mind. I am 47 years old and I weigh 143. I am generally in very good health Any feedback would be great. Thank you! Kathleen

Thank you for the question.\It is common to have tachycardia (high pulse )during an episode of asthma and also the broncho dilators also enhance rate. Anxiety associated also adds to it. clonazipam 0.5 mg at bed time is recommended.get blood gases analysis done and oxygen saturation levels, serum Na, K, bicarbonates levels .Any discrepancy found has to be managed accordingly so be in touch with a physician for assessment. Acid-base balance should be maintained
if its mild to moderate attack it should subside
