General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the protein in urine can be from multiple reasons, the main of which are a kidney infection, filtration issues as glomerulopathies and so forth.

Basic diagnosis needs urine culture, ultrasound of the KUB, serum creatinine, complete blood count reports for the root cause management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
