Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Body Ache

i am 28 yrs old,female my weight is 65 kg's & height is 5 inch 2.5 feet.Lately i am surfing from high fever & body ache.one of the doctor recommended me to go for esr & crp blood test.My reports say my ESR ids 40 & CRP cunt is 178.20 is it that i am sufring from any kind of joint pain.n the only medication that can give me releif is streiods.i am really scared pls advise me what to do. and what are the consequences.i am unmarried till now pls help

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would like to advise that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

Following investigations may be helpful :-
1. Complete Blood Count ( CBC ).
2. Liver Function Test ( LFT ).
3. Urine examination.

You should avoid steroids for pain relief and fever. You should take paracetamol 500mg for relief from your symptoms.
For severe pain, you can take painkiller like Ibuprofen after meals.
Further medical management can be planned after knowing the reports of the investigations.
Any medicine should be taken under medical supervision only.

I really appreciate your concern if this is high grade fever then other investigation need to be done to rule out the possibility of infection because the elevated ESR is also suggestive of this, now better go for complete blood count and x-ray study of chest, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
