Having a longstanding blood pressure is never a good thing. Having said that 138/82 is thankfully just on the borderline of acceptable/unacceptable for a younger individual. You must ask yourself if you are potentially doing things which increase this BP and Heart rate. Such as Caffeine and or Sugar products. As such if you are concerned, take some repeat tests, write down your results (And or what you were doing and or eating at the time) and bring this to your physician.
