Suggest Treatment For Hiccups And Retching In Diabetic Patient

my father is a diabetic patient,77, in acute on chronic heart failure patient. presently having hiccups and retching. his renal function test and fasting blood sugar is normal. he is on metoclopamide, glucophage, digoxin, lasix,aldosterone, augmentin, but no relief. cant eat and is so uncomfortable

Hello,

If the hiccup is a matter of concern then it may not stop with the medicine given but it should be try with antacid with local anesthetic action with tab Omeprazole with Domperidone. Ask him to drink more water, along with this renal function needs to be tested.
