iam 55 years female-infected with HCV - from 1986 blood transfusion and identified recently ( 2 years back) i have no symptom other that elevated ALT in LFT tests. I would like to know latest treatment and would like to avoid combo interferon treatment.

ya u can avoid interferon in 2017. Let me know your HCV viral RNA load and genotype. According to genotype treatment differs. But as compared to past oral tablets are available.
