Suggest Treatment For Heartburn, Nausea And Constipation

several months ago I started getting really bad heartburn. In April I started getting more severe symptoms such as feeling hot and chilled at the same time. A restlessness inside my body. This was waking me up at night. prescribed omeprazole 20 mg. I took it for a month and was feeling better so discontinued due to sour stomach. All the symptomes came back so local doctor prescribed prevacid and sucralfate. Stopped sucralfate due to nausea and constipation. One symptom that happens frequently is a racing heart beat. As of today it was 100 bpm. Any ideas what could be causing it and how to treat it. ER did an EKG and saw no abnormalities. It s causing me to get scared because none of the medical providers have any answers. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello,

The heart burn sometime could be due to Hiatus hernia like condition for which along with antacid surgical management might needed.
So endoscopy should be done for further work up.

Your heart rate can be high if you are stress. The anxiety induced panic attack could be the cause.

EKG sometime might not be diagnostic. I suggest you investigate with 2D echocardiography for further work up to exclude all possible cardiac cause.
