Suggest Treatment For Heart And Kidney Disease

My good friend has been on dialysis for 15 months. During that time he has had a heart attack and has a stint in his main aorta. He still has the heart cath for his dialysis in his heart and doctors, both kidney doctor and his cardiologist want his to do the fusion of his veins in his arm and get the cath out of his heart. They say it will be better for him all the way around. What are your thoughts on this??
