Suggest Treatment For Headaches Caused Due To Dentures
my denture is causing headaches and my dentists doesn t want to fix them you can tell they do not fit right they don t line up with my bottom teeth which makes it very hard to chew how can I get my insurance to get their money back so I can get a new one made?
Understanding your concern. As you describe in your query that you have headaches caused due to dentures which could be due to sharp points, extensions and ill fitting nature which is putting pressure on ridge leading to your symptoms.
I would suggest you to stop wearing denture for few days and apply numbing gel like orabase for relief. You should visit dentist once and get sharp points trimmed, sooner you will be adaptable to that. Chew on sugar free gum and candies to stimulate salivary flow. For now eat fresh fruits and chew hard peppermint candy .
Hope your concern had been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
