General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If there is no temperature run over thermometer that means, the underlying infection is cured and these are the side effects of prescribed antibiotics only. If there is recordable fever above 99 degree F, means that there is residual infection which is not controlled by previous antibiotics. Kindly get a temperature measures with complete hemogram lab report for further guidelines.

Till that time:
- Consume more liquids in sessions
- Avoid rest of analgesics apart from paracetamol or acetaminophen for avoidance of constipation and appetite issues
- Add proton pump inhibitor as esomepraozle or rabeprazole to take care of chest pain (might be related to gastritis), intestine soothing
- Intake of pro and pre biotics (as fresh yogurt or else) to return back to previous flora at an early stage

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
