hi the other night my daughter woke with a piercing head ache and would vomit when it became intence. this lasted around 2 hours during the early hours but suffered from mild headaches over the last 2 days, now the whites of her eyes look redder and her lips have become sore she is only 3

Go for a vision test. Eye checkup will clear many things.
Ask her for blurred vision in watching television or in the class watching board then proceed further.
