Suggest Treatment For Headache After Head Injury

Hi, I hit my head against a edge the edege of a sharp counter top felt like a sharp knife , but no blood,. No blurry vision, no vomoting, just headache afterwards and having pain in the area . Happened yesterday do I have to get it checked out. Kinda feeling weird in that area.

Well hello there , I've gone through your problem and let me assure you as from your descriptions, seems like you've experienced a mild traumatic head injury.

Headache and bumps later on can be there for a few days(7-10days depending on the force of the impact) while you might feel a dizzy also(after all its a concussion injury) .

Don't worry, just take Tab PARACETAMOL 650MG Three times a day after food for 2-3 days for the pain and you'll be better. You can also apply some Ice-Pack / a bag of frozen peas instead over the area.

Meanwhile try to refrain yourself from driving/jym/handling heavy machineries etc. Try to stay at home for the time being.
If you experience any of those warning signs of head injury then you need to check into your nearest ER and get a CT-scan of head done.

Otherwise keep yourself under strict observation for another 24 Hrs.
