Suggest Treatment For Having Bulky Ovaries With Multiple Follicles
I am 23 yrs old. My Name is Sangeeta and suffering from irregular periods. Doctors wrote tests and the reports are as below: My both overies bulky un size and show multiple small follicies arranged peripherally. Right overy measures 44 X 22 X 22mm volume - 11.5cc Left overy measures 44 X 17 X 30mm volume 12.2cc. Other findings: No free fluid is seen in the peritoneum. Except above two everything is normal in report. Please tell me, What is meaning of all above and what i have to do. Please help me.

the above mentioned reports indicate that your ovaries are polycystic in nature with the volume of both the ovaries more than 10cc. also the symptom of oligomenorrhoea of delayed irregular menses classify you under the category of PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome.
you havent metioned your height , weight and BMI which is important.
ideally at our clinic , we place such ladies on Ginette 35 once a day for 28 days for 6 months if they are not contemplating pregnancy. this helps them regularize their cycles and give them better chance to concieve later. also weight reduction is an important factor for treating PCOS.
the earlier the treatment started in consult with your gynae, its better. certain hormone profile needs to be done before medication , like thyroid profile, serum fsh/lh, serum prolactin and testosterone.
