Hello,

A painless swelling near clitoris could indicate presence of a cyst. It is usually not treated unless it causes you pain, discomfort, foul discharge or is showing signs of infection. So as far as it is painless and does not cause you any other discomfort, you may ignore it.

However, if you develop itching, burning, pain or discomfort, you may have to visit a gynecologist for examination of the swelling and its treatment.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
