Suggest Treatment For Hair Dye Allergy

I am currently waiting out my second reaction to hair dye that I applied on Easter Eve. I was a long time user of hair dye, and had my first full blown reaction in August 2010, it lasted for approximately 6 weeks, and I just about died with that reaction due to not enough information of what to avoid, I kept compounding it with medicated creams that were supposed to help, but had adverse reactions that made the initial reaction so much worse. This time along with the hives and my head swelling, my ears swelled so big I thought they would pop and the skin magically melted off and they started to bleed. I have been able to link some dermatological issues to this allergy, and I am wondering if this PPD allergy may have something to do with my body producing antibodies to attack my thyroid.
I am 37, 120 lbs., 5'4"- I just had a full battery of blood tests, ultrasound and x-rays before I dyed my hair and other than the antibodies attacking the thyroid I am perfectly healthy.
