Suggest Treatment For Frontal Headache,runny Nose And Phlegm In Throat
i am aged 55 having block in upper respiratory system in lying position with freequent cough. it takes several minutes to get to normal with pointed moderate pain in the mid portion of eyes and nose joint portion. with lot of flem particularly after food and running nose.

The commonest causes of your symptoms are as follows:
- Sinusitis as you have pain near nose and eyes.
- Inflammation extended to other upper and then lower respiratory tract.
- Lots of phlegm indicates severe inflammation.
Hence I would advise you the following:
- Consult your Doctor for preliminary check up and have investigations of blood.
- CT scan of sinuses.
- X-ray of chest.
- Primary treatment with antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines, decongestant and as advised.
- Reference to an ENT Surgeon for further evaluation, examination, investigations and management as per the cause found.
