Suggest Treatment For Foot Warts

I went to the doctor to have a wart removed from the bottom of my big toe and she froze it but it didn t work. Instead of it going away it got bigger and more tender in that area and now instead of 1 wart, I have 3 on the bottom of my feet. I Googled the causes of foot warts and the only thing that came up was HPV. Is that the only cause for foot warts? I also researched what the HPV was and it says that it is secular transmitted. I ve been with my husband for 4 years and I have not been with anyone else, period.

Hi.
As per your case history of warts.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Apply a salicylic acid plus lactic acid lotion like Salactin paint on affected region only at night.
4. Other treatment options are oral levamisole, zinc given only after consulting a dermatologist.
