Suggest Treatment For Fluctuating Blood Pressure Levels

have been taking losartan potassium 50 mg for 3 weeks and experiencing flucuating systolic readings - high of 175 and low of 118 seems to be higher in am and pm and more normal 124 to 135/140 during main part of day. am 83 yrs. old fairly good health was taking amolodipine previously

hi.. Welcome to hcm...you may need revision of your losartan dosages. Discuss with your doctor. Take anti hypertensive daily at same time. Monitor bp regularly. Take salt restricted low fat diet. Consult your cardiologist for expert management. Thank you
