hello my dad is 90 years old and he has high blood oressure he takes a pill losartan for it right noe he is experiencing how can I say this but he is talking lots of jibberish u can understand what he is saying but why is the question he is dizzy and just not right I took his b/p three times its 143 / 76 that s the average of three times I took it again and now its 163 should I take him to the hospital
HI Well come to HCM Looking to the age of your father this is geriatric problem, better to reduce the dose of antihypertensive or if possible change it, because losartan is angiotensin receptor antagonist little toxic drug, instead calcium channel (low dose )blocker would be much better in this age group, else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
