Hello! I read carefully your query and understand your concern. The way you describe it seems to be an viral infection causing these symptoms. Viruses (most common Influenza viruses or viruses than cause common cold) usually affect the upper respiratory tract.The virus attack the epithelial cells of all respiratory tract,after multiplies in these cells kills them. In this case ear pain,throat sore ,fever and cough are the most common symptoms. Usually this is a self-limiting condition that can last up to 2-3 weeks. No special treatment is needed. You can give her Ibuprofen or paracetamol for fever.She need rest,eat healthy foods mostly green vegetables and drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration due to fever.She will improve day after day. If the symptoms are getting worse,she has high fever that seems won t get down and you notice white spots in her throat I suggest to consult a physician because it is possible that a bacterial infection is superimposed and in this case she need to take antibiotics.
