Suggest Treatment For Eye Pain And Inflammation Inside Eyelid
I have both neo poly dex drops and predisone acetate at home for the treatment of chronic dry eye as I have auto immune disaease. I awoke in the night on weekend with sharp pain in left eye that is relieved when I look down or to the left. i m assuming there is inflammation inside my eyelid which is very painful when it scrapes the colored part or lens of my eye. Idk how I will ever sleep tonight as I cant control my eye movement when sleeping. I cant remember the dosage for my eye drops. seems like I took both last time I had an inflammatory problem but I know both are steroids or have some steroid so im not sure if its safe. Can you tell me what would be a safe but the most aggressive treatment I can do using these meds?

prednisolone is contraindicated in any inflammation and dry eye. You have all drops except artificial tear drop. You have not said about your spec or contact lens. in any way you should not scrap any lens. there are lens cleaning solution available. best thing is plan water and cleaning by fl-anal. for any inflammatory condition simple antibiotic like ofloxacin.3% can be applied 6hourly. Refresh tear eye drop can be kept in house. neosporine eye ointment is again safe. but is advisable to use medicine on doctors advise.
