Suggest Treatment For Erysipelas

I m sufferig from erysipelas. I am taking antibiotica for this. At first this was painfull now that it is starting too heel It is very itchie. Is there a Cream I could use. Also saterday I have to attend a wedding the erysipelas is on my face what can I use to hide the redness. Thank you Micky Clermonts

As you must already be aware erysipelas is a bacterial infection of the skin. If you have been treated with antibiotics and recovering is just some more time that you will recover completely and without residual effects, healing wounds and infections some times do itch, to relieve it you may use cold compresses, It is not advisable to hide is with any kind of makeup for the wedding because the skin is still raw and the contents of the make up may get absorbed or irritate the skin further
