Suggest Treatment For Endrometriosis

My niece has endrometriosis and was told today that she has the work case this doctor has seen and that they can t do anything else for her but try to keep her comfortable . We are trying to locate a doctor/hospital that specializes in that disease. Do you have any ideas of where we should start?? I don t have an email address at home, but the one I entered is my work email.

Hello and welcome.

There are many approaches to treating endometriosis and they include pain management medications (naproxen, ibuprofen, etc.), hormone therapy (e.g. Gn-Rh agonists, contraceptives, danazol, medroxyprogesterone, etc.), and even surgery for those women who are trying to get pregnant (which is something your niece consider sometime in her life).

Unfortunately I do not have your email id, location, etc; and so I cannot provide you with the exact information you required, but have replied with some basic approaches to treating endometriosis.

Best wishes.
