I have endometriosis I m 20 years old. I ve been have the same issues since I was 14, I recently had to go to a new Dr. And the put my on Norethindrone 5mg. 1x a day. My period came back,even tho my last one was a week and a half ago. It s making me extremely moody and tired, but having issues sleeping. It is causing me more pain and the pain has even started progressing more on the other side. I ve only been taking it a couple weeks now. Is this normal??

Following are symptoms of endometriosis: Painful, heavy, or irregular periods Pain and spotting during or after sex Infertility Painful bowel movements Fatigue
Following are treatments of endometriosis: 1. Hormonal therapy: - Progestrone - Oral contraceptive pills - Danazole and gestrinone - GnRH agonist - NSAIDS for pain relief 2. Surgery: if associated with sever pain and infertility - Excision of endometrium and adhesion with preservation of uterus and ovary.
