Suggest Treatment For Elevated FSH, Hair Loss, Absence Of Sperm And Cold Hands

My son has nil sperm by SA and biopsy. He does have slighly raised FSH. A couple of years ago he lost a lot of his hair on the top of his head. He always has very cold hands to the touch and sweats a lot. Do you think there might be any possible treatments available?

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

I would like to know how high is the FSH, the size of your son's testicles, serum testosterone levels, thyroid function tests.

If the testosterone levels are low and FSH is grossly elevated it could be due to some problems in testes (testicular failure) or due to some chromosomal disorders.

If FSH is grossly elevated treatment options for fertility are limited since biopsy is also negative. But general health and all other problems associated an be treated with testosterone hormone injection..

Please let me know the details.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help

With warm regards,
Dr Ajish TP (MD,DM)
