Suggest Treatment For Earache And Green Discharge From Ear
hi, i went to my gp on thursday because my ear and face was swollen and and was in pain
my gp gave me strong antibiotics and pain killers
since then the pain has got worse and i have a bright green discharge
i have been taking the medication but it continues to worse

Hi, I have read your question and understand your concerns. Thank you for posting in HCM.
It seems likely you are suffering from otitis externa that is the infection of the ear canal.
Continue taking Antibiotics as prescribed.
If a patient comes to me with such sypmtoms i advice him not to use q tips for cleaning ear wax, Tab Co-amoxi clav 500/125 mg thrice daily along with Tab diclofenac 50 mg twice daily for 7 days.
