Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection And Swollen Lymph Node

I was stretching my ears/ going up a gauge, and made the hole bleed. It didnt seem infected til today (2 days later). My earlobe has swelled 5 times its size, sticking way out. The lymph node is swollen and hurts a lot . The inside of my ear hurts, too. I took ibuprofen and put salt water on it, then mupirocin. I read to do that; is that correct? Thank you Crystal

Hello

Yes , you have done the correct thing, please continue doing it. If the pain does not subside or the swelling increases , you may need a course of antibiotics and for this i would like you to meet your ent doctor.
Dont worry , you will be fine!

Take care
