Suggest Treatment For Ear Discharge And Swollen Tonsil

Hi, I am 20, 5'7", 264lbs, and have had Swimmer's Ear on and off for the past few years. I believe I have Swimmer's Ear again, except this time, when I use my drops and clean out my ears with a Q-Tip, there is a yellowish goo that comes out, and I cannot hear anything from my left ear; also, I have a pain going through to my lower canine tooth on my left side, and my left tonsil is swollen.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain ear discharge with a history of Swimmer's Ear that is an infection in ear canal due to bacterial overgrowth caused due to excessive water and moisture in ear can lead to pus formation that is appearing as yellow discharge from ear..

Pain in left side of throat can be radiating pain from ear or can be transmission of infection from ear to throat via Eustachian tube..

Pain in lower canine tooth does not seems to be due to ear and throat infection and needs evaluation by a dentist..

You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and along with a thorough clinical evaluation he can also advise you otoscopy of ear to confirm the cause..

In case if there is infection oral antbiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers and antibiotic ear drops can be advised to you..
Doing warm saline gargles can help in soothing throat..
Avoid spicy and hard foods and drink plenty of water..
Maintain a good oral hygiene..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
