Suggest Treatment For Double Vision And Tender Cheek After Injury

I got hit in the eye 2 days ago. At first my vision was really bad but it's gotten better. I only have double vision when I move my eyes up and to the right. My cheek bone is tender and it hurts when I chew. Since it's got better I wasn't too worried but it didn't improve from yesterday to today. I don't have eye insurance so that's why I haven't gone to the doctor. Is there a chance this won't improve?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having double vision following injury.
Since this double vision is present in one gaze it is most probably caused by nerve palsy or injury to the extraocular muscle.
This requires evaluation by ophthalmologist. If it is muscle problem it will not improve and may require surgery, but a nerve injury can improve by itself.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
