Suggest Treatment For Divertoculosis

I am a 35 year old female, who is basically healthy.I have diverticulosis. I have had surgery to remove the right side of my colon. I still find it hard to determine between an attack and a bout of a virus. I have been fevered for everal days now, no higher than 100.00. I have last couple of days had severe bloating and discomfort on my left side, but no trouble or changes in bowel movements.I do know that I have diverticula scattered throughout my colon. I donot eat seeds, nuts, or popcorn. I always DOmy best to follow a high fiber diet and increase my water intake. I am concerned that I may be having isssues with diverticulitis again. Could it be just a virus?
