Suggest Treatment For Discomfort At The Incision Site Of Oophorectomy Surgery

I am 7 days post op from a salpingo oophorectomy bilateral and hysterectomy, my incision is through an old c-section scar. Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It sounds like gas which is common to encounter after a pelvic surgery. As far as you do not have any extreme pain or bleeding from the surgical wound site or fever or severe discomfort, it looks fine. Nonetheless, if your symptoms worsen in any form kindly visit the concerned doctor for further review.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
