Suggest Treatment For Discomfort After Urination And Bowel Movement

Hi, I am 5'11 3/4 in tall female, 52 yrs old, and is experiencing dirt on toilet paper when I wipe my vagina and rectum after urinating and the bowel movement. I take baths and showers. I am type 2 diabetic. I get relief when I have shower or bathe really good and put vagisil the inside and outside walls of my vagina. Boils comes on my buttucks and vagina as well too. I recently had a bacterial infection, stomach virus and abcess in late April. I was admitted in the hospital, treated with penicillian, shots in my stomach and released. the tooth was pulled last week and suddenly all the boils in that area and dirt in my vagina and rectum are back. What is going on?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Since you are diabetic the chances of recurrent infections anywhere in the body are increased if diabetes is not under control, the immunity is lowered due to any reasons.
The occurrence of infection near vagina, anus and buttocks predominantly indicate for the need to change the inner wears as these are not sterile an may be the reason for recurrent infections in the area.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get the blood tests for CBC, diabetes full investigations including HbA1c and tests of liver and kidney functions.
Local care by application of liquid povidone iodine to all the affected area.
Daily shower and local cleaning.
If there is evidence of an infection your Doctor will advise you a course of an antibiotic and supportive medications.
Being diabetic you need daily supplements of multivitamins, mineral and so on as guided by the blood reports.
An opinion of a Gynecologist for internal examination and to see whether there is internal infection, ulcer or so and have proper management of the problems thus diagnosed.
