Suggest Treatment For Discoloration Of Eyes

Hi Im 60 yr old and still very fit. I got off the train in the tube and miss a footing, landed on my left knee and hit the front of my face really hard thud on the wall resulting in great pain on the start of my left eyebrow and a pretty bad black swollen eye a day later. I am up and about now (i fell on Monday) although there is still pain on my brow and my body hurt too. The paramedics which the tube officers called have examined me and nothing serious at that point of time but they did tell me I will experience pain from the fall and prescribed painkillers since I didnt want to go to the hospital and was concious and alert . My question is, I do have stiffness around my neck and the blueblack effect on my eye is depressing. Could you tell me what to do to ease the eye discolouring. thanks

Hi
This is because of colour changes in the oozed blood around your eye.If moderate blood collection is there it will resolve in a month. No worry. Hope you must have checked your vision ok.
Do not rub. No warm compress. Minimum touching will give you early recovery.
All the best
