Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Swallowing And Bloody Mucous With History Of Asthma
21 year old female presents withn chief complaint of difficulty in swallowing for both solid and liquid foods.since two days. she has history of asthma since childhood. hse has been coughing since two days. the cough is mixed with blood. she has not taken any medicine for the same. she snores sometimes in night. there is no lymphadenopathy. there is hypertrophy of both tonsills. no exudates . no any ear infection. so what will be the potential differential diagnosis?? and managment for the same. thanks
Rule out sleep apnoea., Tonsillitis, bad viral infection in view of cough with blood, tuberculosis max. Start on antibiotics, anti inflammatories. Anti reflux medication.. allergies can also give rise to something like this.... if tonsillitis need to be removed. Montelukast1 can be started soon as she has asthma. and would be a safe drug
