Suggest Treatment For Diabetes

I am diabetic since 5 years .All these years my diabeties was under control.Since two years I have been taking Galvusmet 50/1000 OR 50/500 twice a day.Recently for past few days my fasting sugar is coming around 130-140 .PP is around 180.I did have few bites of sweets over the last 15 days.What should I do.

The goal for fasting blood sugars is 70 to 130 and for 2 hour post meals ,less than 180.

Your 2 hour post meal is just within range but your fasting readings are too high.

It is likely that the use of the sweets that you mentioned may have contributed to this if your readings were previously in control.

You may want to alter your diet and increase your activity level to see if the readings improve.
If there is no improvement then you may need to see your doctor, your medication may need adjustment.
