Suggest Treatment For Dermatomyositis

I woke up yesterday with deep purple discoloration on my upper eyelid (close to my nose). It s only on one eye - but it s quite dark. I experienced no trauma so I guessed it was just a broken blood vessel. As today has gone on however, both eyes have become quite red - like the worst bloodshot eyes I have ever had. They don t hurt or itch - but I have had several people comment on how bad they look. Coincidentally, I have a routine physical scheduled for Monday so I will certainly ask my doctor then, but I m wondering if I need to see someone sooner.
