Suggest Treatment For Depression Despite Taking Escitalopram

I am currently taking escitalopram 10mg and I have been taking that for about a year. I realize that I am battling depression, but I have nothing to be depressed about!!! Anyway, I have no energy , have lost all my desire to do anything and realize that I need to tackle this problem. Where do I start?

Hello,

You have nothing to be depressed about. You are accepting that. Feeling fatigue, losing energy lets try for some thyroid test and general health test.

If everything is good, then motivate yourself by exercise, healthy food, multivitamins.

If some blood test shows any problem we need to address immediately.

So kindly visit some good centre and proceed with general health check-up. Do not waste time esp healthwise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
