Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots Caused By Acne

I am 23 and I have dark spots due to acne so I bought the product garnier spot skin renew overnight peel for 15 dollars and I used it all over my face. I think it bleached my skin I was not happy with the results so I tried to exfoliate. Would it be possible to scrub off the bleached skin?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dark spots caused by acne which occurs when sebum get accumulated along with dead skin and bacteria in clogged pore of sebaceous gland. Need not to worry. You should start with Accutane as it contains isoretinoin and is used to treat severe acne. Exfoliate your skin once a week to remove the dead skin from your face. Drink plenty of water. Apply betnovate on acne twice a day for 2-3 days. If condition doesn't start getting better in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotic course clindamycin. You should go for chemical peeling and laser therapy. Apply mashed potatoes on skin. Take diet rich in fruits , green leafy vegetables and salad.
