Suggest Treatment For Dark Patches Of Fungi On Inner Thigh

I am a female and recently have got what appears to be dark patches of fungi appearing right around my inner thigh. The worst thing is it seems to be spreading. The doctor has given me Daktarin cream but it hasnt got rid of it. Is there any advice to cure this as i am very concerned and also what started it as it is a very random place to get fungi in the first place.

Hi,

It looks like you got tinea cruris. You need to apply Clotrimazole ointment locally and keep the area dry. Use loose and cotton undergarments. Eat Tab Itraconazole 200mg for 14 days, provided you don't have any allergy or comorbidity.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
