hello madam,
base of the heart MI(heart attack) has shortness of breath and fluid accumulation in legs..
the prognosis depends on extent of damage to the heart muscle and residual function of heart
you dont worry..take him to the doctor ASAP..he may do an echo of heart and fix the dose of lasix and other drugs accordingly..
he will feel better with the symptoms..
in case of severe short of breath take him to emergency room

hope my answer helps you
if you have any more queries i would be happy to
help you..
