Suggest Treatment For Cyst In Ovary

I have a choclate cyst in my ovary...can u tell me what is the best method to remove this kind of cysts..my doc says i have to do a laproscopic surgery...and if i do laproscopic surrgery,,will the cyst regrow again...or will the cyst will be cured fo ever

Hello,

you should have surgery depending on if you have symptoms, whether one or both ovaries are affected, whether or not you want to have child.

If the cyst is small and not producing symptoms, i would advise for watch-and-wait approach. birth control pill will be useful too. Cyst can develop later post op also as follicle keep on forming and when get gets willed with blood it forms chocolate cyst.
