Suggest Treatment For Crohn's Disease

I am suffering from cronic crohn's disease for 3.5 years now. I am under a daily dosage of 175 mg of Azathioprine and 800 mg of Mesacol(Mesalamine). But this has made me susceptible to cough and cold, flu like symptoms rampantly. Is there a way around this.

Crohns disease is an autoimmune disease which needs lifestyle changes in addition to the medications you are taking which can be tapered and even stopped once you get into remission.
Stop all diary products and oily food Sstop animal products
Stop wheat and other gluten
Eat whole food plant based diet
Stop eating processed food and cook your own food .Do not eat from outside
Eat a high fibre diet abourt 30 gms day.
Increase your fluid intake according to your body weight and activity level
take a probiotic with varied strains
also take prebiotics to nourish the probiotics.
reduce stress levels by meditation ,yoga
once you have an autoimmune disease you are more prone to other autoimmune diseases
If possible get a consultation from a Functional medicine doctor who will work with other alternate options and help to get you a faster remisssion.
Hope these tips help you.
