Suggest Treatment For Cough

i have been coughing for the last three weeks. I was examined and had malaria and was treated with Coatem anti malria tablets, antibiotics and a cough surup called Bro -Zedex. I am still coughing and i cough like someone who has some dirst in the chest. Kindly advice.i do hope to be adviced.

I can understand your concern.
You are having chronic cough (cough for more than 2 weeks).
So we should definitely rule out lung infection and bronchitis in your case.
So get done chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
You may need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone).
Don't worry, you will be alright. First diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
