How should the following be treated: in left hip MRI showed small cortical defects, several subcortical cysts, frayed ligamentum, party focal sclerosis, marrow edema, changes of anterior superior labrum, arthrosis, synovial proliferation, and much pain after extended time on feet and walking. I m on an anti inflammatory prescription and try to ice hip whenever possible. My orthopedist advised to walk, bike or swim, but walking for more than 10 -15 min causes pain to increase and become extremely uncomfortable. Please advise...thank you...I m 65, have always been active, on sports teams growing up, and have had no injuries at all to the hip or leg!
