Hello,
Sometimes, when a procedure is performed on the pelvic organs, there is a reflex inhibition of bowel and bladder movement temporarily. Perhaps you are facing such a problem and added to this, the sedatives used during the procedure also can cause constipation. You can use laxatives, plenty of liquids and fiber in the diet and stool softeners to aid in relieving your constipation. Boiled greens, oats and fresh fruits help a lot. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
