Suggest Treatment For Conjunctivitis

I have conjunctivitis and am trying to determine if it is bacterial or viral. I have had a sore throat and mild upper respiratory symptoms. My eyes are red and puffy. I woke up with a pussy discharge on the left eye, but not the right. How can I tell if I need antibiotics?

Welcome to HCM portal.
Usually these infections are mixed bacterial and viral.Bacterial is indicated by pus dischargeas in your case . routinely we start with moxifloxacin or ofloxcin drops regularly and antibiotic eye ointment at bed time. The infection is likely to reach the othet eye shortly.
