Suggest Treatment For Conjunctivitis

yesterday, I was diagnosed with conjunctivitis in my right eye, and was given a prescription of tobradex (sp?) Today, my left eye is beginning to matter up like my right eye did. Should I also treat my left eye according to the schedule I was given yesterday for my right eye?

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having conjunctivitis. Tobradex is a antibiotic and steroid eye drops and use of steroids should be avoided in infective conjunctivitis. As far as possible only antibiotic eye drops should be used and steroid eye drops should be used in severe cases with involvement of cornea, immunological conjunctivitis and allergic conjunctivitis.
You need to avoid touching the other eye after touching the infected eye and you can use prophylactic antibiotic eye drops to prevent spread of infection to it.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Thank you
