Suggest Treatment For Cold For A Type 2 Diabetic Patient.

Hello Doctor. I'm a 47 yr old Type 2 diabetic. Right now, I have a slight annoying cold. Otherwise, I have been feeling really good lately. I recently started drinking Aloe Vera Juice (purchased from Walgreens) and I take Mega Men's Performance and Vitality vitamins (8 in a pack), which I purchased from GNC.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern but there is no reason. If it is just a simple cold, you just have to drink enough fluids (1.5-2 L a day) and since you are a diabetic try to avoid sweetened juices and drink water, tea without sugar or unsweetened squeezed citrus. Continue to take those vitamins.

I hope this answer was helpful to you.
