Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully your question and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a low blood pressure, probably caused by the small intervention you had.
It is normal to have some headache after hitting your head.
You will recover spontaneously. But if your symptoms worsen, instead of getting better, I recommend going to the ER for a head CT scan, to exclude possible delayed
intracranial hemorrhage, related to the
head trauma.
Regarding
chronic migraine and all the other symptoms (aura), I would recommend starting a preventive therapy to help you reduce the frequency and severity of the migraine attacks. I would recommend
propranolol or
topiramate for this purpose, based on the fact that you are a young woman. It would be a long term therapy (more than 6 months).
I recommend you to discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
Regarding your new nexplanon, it is usually fixed well in the uterine walls and it is resistant to body movements.
But, if you have bleeding, you should consult with your doctor for a physical exam and an ultrasound.
Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes,
Dr. Aida
