Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. In case of pneumonia there will be breathlessness , cough and fever. So no need to worry about that. Your pain can be most likely musculoskeletal as after viral fever it is common to have such problems. Costochondritis (pain due to inflammation of costal cartlages) is also possible. In that case applying gels containing NSAIDs like Diclofenac , methylsalicylate and capsaicin will be helpful. You can also do ice pack application or warm compress. If there is no improvement then ECG and X ray chest should be taken to rule out cardiac and lung problems.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
